Goodyear Dash Cam: Who Actually Makes It, And What Owners Report
The Goodyear dash cam is not made by the tyre company. Goodyear licenses its name to Thinkprice, which states it is operated by Vivo Technologies Ltd, and which sells several different cameras under the badge. Owners of the 1080p dual lens model, which sells for £38.99 at B&Q, report that the picture quality does not match the claimed resolution and that the rear camera is for reversing only.
We do not test cameras. Everything on this page is something somebody else published, with a link to where they said it and the date they said it. The public record on this camera is thin. Only two dated owner reviews on the retailer’s own site match this exact model, plus one forum thread. That is a small sample and we will not dress it up as more. The 4.4 star Amazon aggregate that circulates covers several different Goodyear cameras and cannot honestly be attached to this one.
Who actually makes it. Goodyear licenses its brand. The distributor states it is Thinkprice, operated by Vivo Technologies Ltd. That is the distributor’s own statement about itself, not an independent fact. At least four or five different cameras are sold under the Goodyear badge, so a review of one tells you little about another.
What owners complain about
The rear camera is for reversing only. It does not record rear view whilst driving.

The specification, and who is claiming it
A manufacturer stating its own camera is 4K is not the same as somebody checking. Rows marked as a seller claim are the seller talking.
