Anytek G70B – A Dash Cam from the Video Technology Experts
Anytek are a fairly well-known brand that manufactures dash cams, CCTV systems, action cameras and more. They have been around since 2011 and whilst they may be well-known, they’re not exactly a big name in the dash cam industry.
One of the things that a lot of people seem to like about Anytek is that they are dedicated to thorough research and take a lot of work to design their products.
They have several different dash cams available at the moment, one of them being the Anytek G70B. We have taken the time to test and review the product so that you can make an informed decision as to whether or not it is the right dash cam for you.

The first thing that we noticed about this dash cam from Anytek is that it feel like it has been made cheaply. It feels solid in the hand and very robust which is just what you want. The user interface is really simple and easy to use with all of the controls being easily accessible. The menu itself is really easy to navigate, making switching between different functions no problem at all.
Thanks to the suction mount, there is no need to worry about fitting the dash cam. It simply sticks to the windscreen behind the rear view mirror which makes it very easy to install. The initial setup is also really easy to carry out. Overall, we were quite surprised with how well this dash cam has been put together.
The Recording Quality
For a model that isn’t on the expensive side of things, we were very surprised with the recording quality offered by the Anytek G70B. Playback on the device itself is clear and surprisingly easy to see. However, we noticed that when the footage is played back through a laptop or PC the quality is even more impressive.
The camera itself captures still images really well and you are able to see number plates with perfect clarity. There are no blurred letters to worry about. A major plus point with this camera is that it doesn’t struggle at all in lower light conditions, it picks up everything perfectly.
The microphone that is built in to the device is highly effective. It didn’t struggle to pick up any of the noises that were in the background, even those that were further away from the vehicle. We have to say that we were really quite impressed with the recording quality from this dash cam.
The Extra Features
As you would expect from a lower end dash cam, there isn’t really much to report in terms of extra features. However, there are a few features that make it stand out from the competition which are worth noting.
First of all there is the fact that the screen at 4” is perfect. It might not be what you are looking for if you want a discreet dash cam, but it is perfect if ease of use is important to you. With the LCD screen being this size you are able to access everything that you need to really easily which is a massive plus point.
The built in G sensor that detects shocks or impact to your vehicle is really effective and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The only thing that we don’t really like is the fact that the sensitivity of the sensor itself is not adjustable which we found did cause us a few problems.
We noticed that the automatic recording feature would start as soon as the slightest movement was detected which is far too sensitive. If the sensitivity of the sensor could be adjusted then this dash cam would be a great budget model.
If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a dash cam and you want a device that offers basic features, then this dash cam from Anytek is definitely worth considering. However, if you want something that is a little more complicated in terms of the different features that it is able to offer then you should probably look into other options that cost a little more.
